About Mobile Cat and Dog Vet

Our Vet
Dr. Libby Hays is a graduate of the University of Texas-Austin (MA Psychology, BBA Marketing) as well as Texas A&M University Veterinary School. She was sidetracked in a first career for a few years, working in management training programs for the City of Austin and the State of Texas. After deciding to return to school, she continued working part-time for the state, taking prerequisite courses for veterinary school at U.T, and volunteering at a local veterinary hospital. After graduation, she was an associate veterinarian at a local veterinary clinic for several years. With the rapid growth of the Austin area, she saw the need for additional mobile veterinary services and decided to fill that need with Mobile Cat & Dog Vet.

Dr. Libby is a long-time resident of Austin and enjoys the many outdoor activities that the city offers. She shares her house with several furry four-legged creatures (dogs- Jojo, and Louis and cats Annabelle, Bagheera, and Minette) and, of course her husband Michael.
